Brianne Cannady from a young age recognized she had a love for dance, but found her passion through her feet. Briannecompleted most of her dance training through high school in the Western Massachusetts area at All-Stars Dance Center. In addition to All-Stars, Brianne has spent time as a member of The Boston Tap Company, since 2009, under the mentorship of the founder/director Sean C Fielder. Brianne has had the pleasure of performing for recording artist and dancer Paula Abdul, former choreographer for Michael Jackson, Travis Payne, and Kimberly Wyatt of the Pussycat Dolls in a live audition for the T.V. show Live To Dance as well as America’s Best Dance Crew. Not only has Brianne spent her years studying with BTC, but she has also extended her study of tap dance with Chicago-native Ian Berg in his company, Subject Matter. Brianne has also shared the stage with tap dancers such as Jason Samuels Smith, Dormeshia Sumbry-Edwards, Michelle Dorrance, Derick Grant, Chloe Arnold, Barbara Duffy, Khalid Hill, Bril Barrett, and many others. Brianne has performed at multiple tap festivals to include, The Beantown Tap Festical, DC Tapfest, NJ Tapfest, and Chicago Human Rhythm Project. Brianne has also had honor of performing on the Inside/Out Stage at Jacob’s Pillow. Brianne continues to spread her love and knowledge for tap dance at local dance studios throughout the Western Massachusetts area. PEACE, LOVE, & TAP!
