Renee Watterson has spent the last ten years as a premier tap instructor in the Pittsburgh area. She has studied intensely under some of the most prestigious tap instructors including Greg Russell, Jason Samuel Smith, Mike Minery and Mark Goodwin. Renee continues to expand her knowledge in tap by attending Tap city, motor city tap fest and the Chicago human rhythms project yearly. Renee holds a certification from Dance Masters of America in both tap and jazz and is an active member of her local PA chapter number 10. Her students have performed in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular with the famous Rocketts, and also radio Disney. Renee has a bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Mount Union College in Alliance Ohio as well as a masters degree in Higher Education from Geneva college in Beaver Falls, PA. Renee's choreography for solos, duo/trio's and groups have won many regional and national championships over the years including top overalls and most outstanding choreography. Renee has had over 15 years of extensive dance training and her evolution and dance began at the age of four. Her dancing and training in all genres was under the director of Barb Pope Neely in Ellwood City, Pa.
